Hi, I’m Karen

Watching too much TLC and HGTV growing up, I became fixated on design. I wanted to be a fashion designer, an interior designer, an architect, then eventually stumbled into graphic design. Getting to combine all of the elements of art and design that I love, and my constant want to play around on the computer, I upgraded from Microsoft Paint to Adobe Illustrator and haven’t stopped designing since.

After college and a couple of big moves, I found my home in Chicago where I finally made the jump to owning my own business. The birth of Ren Design Studio came from a dream for the bigger and better, and now I work for myself doing what I love every day.
